Our Purpose

Discovering God...

One verse at a time

Walking with Him...

One step at at time

Sharing His love...

One person at a time

Our mission is to help equip people in Discovering God in and from His Word, teaching it and preaching it faithfully and truthfully one verse at a time.We desire to Walk with Him in our daily lives step by step and to confidently Share the love of Jesus Christ one person at a time in our spheres of influence whether next door or around the world.

Our Vision:

Father, help us by Your grace to be a people who glorify You.

May our vision for ministry be a reflection of Your heart and will for us.

We expectantly look forward to the time when all things will be brought into conformity with Your will.

Until that time, may we as Your body – heart, mind, hands, and feet – serve You daily in our homes, community, jobs, church, and world.

Lord, our desire is to be a place where Jesus Christ is the center of all, and a people who honor Him in all we are, all we say, and all we do. (Philippians 2:9-11, Psalm 2, Revelation 11:15, 22:1-5, 1 Corinthians 12, Colossians 1:18)

Heart
Lord, we see people of all ages worshipping You through how they live.

We see them gathered and hear them with raised voices to honor and praise You.

We see heads bowed and hear hearts poured out to You in passionate prayer. (Matthew 22:36-37,Romans 12:1, 1 Peter 2:9, 1 Timothy 2:1-4)

Mind
Lord, we see people with open Bibles and open hearts passionate about truth.

We see people not content with merely knowing about You, but intent in knowing You intimately.

We see people experiencing You working through them in their daily lives.

We see people of all ages growing in knowledge and spiritual wisdom, holding up Your Word as the authority in all the issues of life. (Romans 12:2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, John 17:17)

Hands
Lord, we see people reaching out in love to serve one another, family, friends, the fellowship, and community.

We see people joyfully using their spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ.

We see older people training and working with younger people in the ministry.

We see one generation preparing the next to receive the mantle of church leadership.

We see ministry carried out in humility, yet striving for excellence to Your glory. (Ephesians 4:7-16, Romans 12:9-21, Colossians 3:17)
Lord, may our love for one another show all that we are your disciples. Make us a place where:

Every person is valued as one who bears the image of God.
The hurting find healing.
The broken find wholeness.
The grieving find comfort.
The weak find strength.
The troubled find peace and direction.
The empty are filled.
The joy of the Lord prevails.
(John 13:34-35, Philippians 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 13)

Feet
Lord, we see people trained and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the thousands in our community and surrounding region.

We see people called by You, educated, equipped, and sent to take the Good News to the ends of the earth. (Matthew 28:19-29, Acts 1:8, Psalm 67)
