 Welcome to Kid's Connection!

Mission and Vision Statements

Get connected... Kid's Connection

We desire to assist families with young children as they train their children to grow in the wisdom and nurture of God's Word.

  • We see children waking their parents up on Sunday morning excited to come to church.
  • We see lots of smiles, glad to be in a place of belonging, welcomed again by a familiar face.
  • We see motivated volunteers and caring adults, passionate about being with kids, gifted to teach, serve, and shepherd.
  • We hear cheers of kids and feel fun in the air as kids celebrate and sing of the goodness of God.
  • We hear the quiteness of prayer. We see the stories of the Bible told in creative ways. We see the look of conviction as the gospel penetrates a child's heart.
  • We dream of kids carrying their Bibles and bringing friends.
  • We see physical care - babies being cuddled and crawlers being chased. We sense a foundation being laid where Sunday morning is an experience of God's love for the youngest baby to the oldest child; a time when seeds of faith can be planted and nurtured.

Our vision for Children's ministries at Mapleview is that now is the time when seeds of faith in God can be planted and nurtured to develop deep roots throughout their childhood years. We desire to see kids choosing to be baptaized and building a fatih foundation that will lead to a lifetime of full devotion to Christ.

Can we go again?  That's what children will be saying when they go to Awana.  Awana at Mapleview is held every Wednesday night at 6:30 for children ages 2-10.  It is packed full of games, fun, laughter, counsel time, and book time... all while learning about God.  We have Puggles, Cubbies, Sparkies, and T-n-T (Truth in Training). It is an exciting program.  Check out the link to the Awana Web site to learn all about it. Better yet, come see for yourself!

VBS
One
week during the summer Mapleview sponsors a "Summer Nites at the View" for the whole family complete with exciting evenings of a well-planned, themed vacation Bible school program with games, music, crafts, snacks, and lessons for the children. We also have offered intriging seminars for the adults. This has been a favorite at Mapleview!

FALL FESTIVAL!

Every October 31 Mapleview offers a night of family-friendly fun.... it's a FALL FESTIVAL!

Everyone is invited to this festival which takes place on our beautiful, well-lit new parking lot and includes a carnival of  fun free game booths, candy and prizes, crafts, jump houses, hay ride, live music, cake walk, cotton candy,  and closes with a TRUNK or TREAT!  Dinner of BBQ hot dogs, nachos, sodas & bottled water will be available for a minimal cost.

The TRUNK or TREAT is extra fun! At the close of the festival all the children are invited to go around to the registered participating cars in our back parking lot and fill their bags with candy as they "Trunk or Treat"!

There will be plenty of fun, games, laughter and candy!

The Fall Festival starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 8:30.
