It 's a reunion, open house and celebration week - end!
Our theme is "Praise for the Past... Faith for the Future!"
God has touched lives through ministry at Mapleview for 50 years!
We would love to see you again! It will be great fun!
Here is a glimpse of what the week-end will look like:
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 starting at 5:30p.m.: FUN AT THE BAY! We're having an informal gathering down at Ski Beach at Mission Bay. This is an opportunity to bring the family and friends down to the bay to play, talk and eat. We are having a catered Mexican dinner from "Tacos y Gordidos". The cost is only $9 for adults, $7 for children ages 8 and under and will be available for 3 hours of delicious food. Reservations are required for dinner. Or you may bring your own picnic with you. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 starting at 11:00AM - 2:00PM: OPEN HOUSE! Tour our newly renovated facilites, explore the Ministry Fair, have lunch, and there will be fun surprises for the kids to participate in a Pine Wood Derby Grand Prix. More details and more surprises to come!
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 starting at 7:00PM: COMEDY CAFE! Come enjoy a delightful evening of coffee and dessert and great laughter with Michael Jr., a professional Christian comedian who has appeared on Jay Leno and much more.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 starting at 10:00AM: WORSHIP SERVICE CELEBRATION! Praise for the Past...Faith for the Future! God is so faithful and worthy to be praised! This will be a grand reunion of past and present members, family, friends, pastors, music leaders, youth pastors, and more! Following the service will be a fantastic pit BBQ lunch, live music with Wayne Rice and the Lighthouse bluegrass band, jumps and games for the kids. Don't miss this precious time together.
